Dr Montana found that out car has a heart murmur from listening to his heart during a routine visit.
After àlot of very confusing information beforehand I was faced with two options according to her.
One wait 2 weeks since this could be caused by BP and night come down or two have a EKG to see if his heart is in fact enlarged and needs surgery.
Well obviously I acted immediately since it sounds so dire!
$600 for EKG.
His results came back with so much jargon nobody would understand so I call her up and she breaks it down.
His heart had been enlarged (slightly)
Now to determine why we need to do a BP test and thyroid test.
$100 total.
I'm my opinion that could of came first and indeed he does have a very enlarged thyroid after test came back and I missed her call after the results came in which the vet tech said wouldn't be in for a day...
I called back she's is busy I'm told so just more time my cat is in pain and they give me the run around.
I'm hopefully getting his medication today and I will never go back after.

I always wanted to nominate my vet but wanted a great story. Now I have one. My dog woke me up shaking at 330am in the morning so I emailed my vet(because i can) and she responded the next morning (on her day off) to bring him in and we will run some tests. Blook ok but she said she would like to do an Xray if I was ok with that. The Xray came back revealing a large mass on his spleen. With a big hug, my vet explained to me it was serious and there were numerous things it could be including Cancer. The best scenario was to operate if after an ultrasound his kidneys were ok. I fel sick in the stomach and couldn't eat or sleep but my vet and staff are so caring and told me to keep my game face on for Roscoe as well. I received the phone call we could operate. Yahoo! A 3lb tumor was entangled in the spleen. He had to spend the night and one of the staff slept right next to him. The next day and what follows is what makes the difference. Surgery great, blood count not ok. She has a doggy blood bank and called one of the donors in to make sure the doggy blood transfusion went well. A week later she called me at home on a Saturday night to tell me not cancer but a Hematoma. The staff and my Vet are the BEST!
